KAY ELL
Kay was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, auntie, grandma, great-grandmother and friend. After a long and full life Kay passed away on Tuesday morning, August 21, 2012, in Abbotsford, B.C. at the age of 97. Kay was born in Davin Saskatchewan, the daughter of Joseph and Flora Herauf. Kay and her husband Ignace were married in 1935 and shared more than 60 years of marriage before his passing in 1997. She will be sadly missed by her son, Robert Ell and his wife Karen, Vancouver, B.C.; and her daughters, Elaine Toye and her husband Harry, San Antonio, Texas; Maria Holden and Sid Robinson, Okotoks, Alberta; her grandchildren, and her many great- grandchildren. Kay sang when she was happy and she sang when she was sad. The love Kay so unselfishly gave to all her family lives on in their daily lives. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Menno Place during the last years of her life. A Celebration of Kay's Life will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan in August 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Kay.
