COPELAND, Margaret Harkness
Nee Richardson
Affectionately known as Peggy or Granny August 28, 1923 - May 20, 2013
Peggy was predeceased by Ralph Dean Copeland, her husband of 42 years, her parents Robert and Isabella Richardson, sister Jean Price and brother James Richardson. Peggy is survived by her daughter Jacquie and Don McDonald, grandchildren Brian and Laryssa Gerber, Kristie and Rod Braddock, Joseph and Victoria Gerber, Chad and Renee McDonald, Shauna and Joshua Dukes, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren. She was very proud to tell everyone of our 5 generations. She is also survived by her brother Robert Richardson, several nieces, nephews and friends. Peggy grew up in the Moose Mountains of Saskatchewan. During WWII she served in the RCAF-WD at Ottawa, Camp Borden and Trenton, Ontario. Returning to civilian life she spent many years as a civil servant in Regina. She retired at the age of 60 and spent many happy years as Granny to family, friends and all the children that crossed her path. We were blessed to have Granny in our lives, she was our strength. Always there when we needed her with words of encouragement, offering a helping hand, unconditional love and a never ending supply of cookies. She will be forever in our hearts. At Margaret's request there will be no service. The interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3. Arrangements entrusted to
