MARGERY COMPTON 1924 - 2017: We are saddened to announce that our mother Margery passed away in Regina on November 27, 2017 at the age of 93 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald (Red) and her parents Sidney and Gladys Payne, brothers Bill and Leslie, and sisters Ella and Joan. Margery is survived by her three daughters: Sandy, Susan (John), Linda, and her son Steven (Marsha). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, her sister Edna, and numerous nieces and nephews. Margery came to Canada as a war bride in 1945 to start a new life after the war, but she remained close to her family through letters and trips home to England. She will be remembered as someone who loved animals of all kinds, in particular her cat Tommy and her beloved dogs. She was also a World Vision sponsor for over thirty five years. At Margery's request, there will be no funeral service. We wish to thank the staff at the Sunset Extendicare Home for the excellent care she received during her stay there.
