It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Norman Arthur (Butch) Hepting of Regina, SK previously of Balcarres, SK in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Regina Pioneer Village one year and two days after the loss of his son, Murray. Norman was born on January 16, 1930 in Jansen, SK. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Margaret (nee Huber) Hepting; son, Murray; brother, John and his wife, Martha; brother-in-law, Bill Miller; mother and father-in-law, Godfrey and Katherine (nee Weibert) Hilderman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave and Bea, Godrey and Rose, Henry and Clara Hilderman, Martha Hilderman, Bob Bauer and numerous uncles, aunts and nephews. Norman is survived by his loving and nurturing wife of 60 years, Elsie (nee Hilderman); daughter, Patti (Bill) Baumgartner; grandsons, Lee and Drew Baumgartner all of Regina, SK. Murray's Partner, Rhonda Woolverton of Calgary, AB; sister, Florence Miller of Penticton, BC; sister in law, Emma Bauer of Regina; special friends, John and Edna Godkin of Regina and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Flowers graciously declined. If friends and relatives so desire, donations may be made in remembrance of Norman to a charity of one's choice. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Bread of Life Lutheran Church, 3018 Doan Drive, Regina, SK with Pastor Carla Blakley officiating. Interment of Cremated Remains will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Regina Pioneer Village 4 West, Drs. VanRooyn and Van Heerden for all their kind care and compassion during his very brief time there.
