SCHLOSSER, Robert Paul "Bob" It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the age of 61, with his brothers by his side. Bob had a successful career with Sears for over 40 years as the National Logistics Manager. He was heavily involved in fishing and was passionate about growing the sport. Bob was one of the founding members of the Sask Walleye Trail in 1994. Winning team of the year in 1997, 2010, with brother Barry and in his last year of tournament fishing while battling cancer he won team of the year, King of the Mtn., Pro Challenge and King of the River with partner and close friend Kevin Hollerbaum. Bob was also one of the driving forces behind the AYA (Angler Young Angler) program in Saskatchewan, which brought fishing to the lives of many youngsters. Bob was an avid hunter, spending much of his time enjoying the outdoors in the pursuit of wild game and spending time with his friends. He also was a big sports fan, cheering on his Blackhawks during the good and not so good seasons. He grew up playing hockey, baseball and racing motocross. Bob was generous to his family and friends, always there to lend a hand. He was predeceased by his infant brother Michael and brother-in-law Leonard. He will be sadly missed by his parents Paul and Carol; sisters Peggy (Murray) Hogan, Kathleen (Jack) Fischl and Colleen Koot; brothers Bryan (Lois) and Barry (Belva); special friend to the family Joyce; nieces and nephews Earl (Lesley), Amanda (Dean), Tim, Michael, Michael (Megan), Ryan (Kayla), Mark (Amy) and Cole; as well as great-nieces and nephews Jaidyn, Ty, Quin, Jake, Ava, Henry and Max. The family would like to thank Bob's many friends who shared his love for fishing and hunting and the doctors, nurses and staff of Ward 3B, The Allan Blair Cancer Clinic and William Booth Special Care Home, Grace Hospice. A CELEBRATION OF BOB'S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 7T1.
