TATHAM, Garry Robert
Garry Robert Tatham, husband, father and grandfather passed away tragically on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Regina. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 37 years, Heather; son Bob (Dawn); daughters Allison and Shannon (Richard); grandchildren Logan and Mackenzie; his mother Evelyn; sister Gail (Warne); brother Billy; sister Maureen (Lorne); as well numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Garry was born in 1942 in Claresholm, AB and was raised in Camrose and Edmonton, AB. He met Heather in 1976 when they were set up on a blind date. They were married in 1977 and their love flourished throughout their years together. Garry worked in sales throughout his life and retired in 2010 as a partner and co-owner of Planet Clean with his brothers-in-law Jock and Doug Anderson. To all who knew him, Garry was the quintessential "good guy" and family man. Kind, loving, reliable and patient, Garry was a wonderful husband and father whose greatest joy was spending time with Heather and his kids. Time and again, Garry said that he was so "lucky" to have Heather – and she said the same of him. A CELEBRATION OF GARRY'S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Garry may be made to the MADD National Office, 6507 C, Mississauga Road, Mississauga, ON L5N 1A6.
