TAYLOR On Thursday, June 17, 2010, Garnet H. Taylor, Wolseley, SK. died at the age of 91 years. The funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Moffat, SK. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas officiating. Interment in Moffat Cemetery. Garnet was predeceased by his wife Fern in 1997; one daughter Darlene Kolbe in 1992; his parents Wolseley and Jeannie Taylor; grandson Jody Douan in 1998; son-in-law Laurent Douan in 1985; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and is survived by 6 grandchildren: Aleta (Daryl) Wistoski, Curtis (Stacey) Douan, Todd (Shelley) Douan, Nicole (Clint) Shepherd, Carmen (Corey) Kulscar and Ashley Kolbe (Nathan); 12 great grandchildren; one sister Nettie Johnson; six brothers: Duffin (Mary), Stanley (Phyllis), Bill (Iris), Lorne, Henry and Jim Taylor and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Garnet farmed in the Moffat District all of his life except for the years he spent in WWII, 1942-1946.
