It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina Florence Breuer who passed away peacefully at the age of 53. Chris was a beautiful woman, loving mother, cherished daughter and favourite sister. She leaves to mourn her sons, Joshua and Jonathan; daughter, Haley; mother, Margaret Breuer; 5 brothers and 5 sisters, their spouses, many nieces and nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by her father, Harold Breuer in 2010. Chris always maintained a brave and cheerful outlook on life and was surrounded by the overwhelming love of her family throughout her journey. Born in Moose Jaw, she lived in Calgary for school and career with Shell Oil and Air Canada. She moved to Regina 13 years ago and was welcomed with open arms from the many relatives and friends who enjoyed spending time with her. Chris took great pride in being a wonderful, caring mother always putting her children first. She was so proud of them and their accomplishments. She was the aunt that made the kids laugh and was filled with compassion and interest in others. Chris was an avid reader and full of creativity whether writing, decorating her house or party planning. Everyone looked forward to the foolish games that she came up with. We would start by pretending to go along but the fun and entertainment always took over and gave everyone joy and laughter. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1:30 at the Westminster United Church, 3025 - 13th Ave., Regina, SK to share the memories and adoration of Chris' Life. The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Wascana Grace Hospice, Dr. Govender and Dr. Johnson for looking after her so well. A very special thank you to Cousin Donna Welke who gave Chris courage. Chris treasured her friendship and counted on her, and she was always there. The family appreciates Donna more than we can say; it was always a comfort knowing she was just around the corner.
