Millicent Lavina Miller (Stewart) passed away peacefully on November 11, 2012 at the age of 76 years. Millicent in predeceased by her parents Harvey and Kathleen, brother Robert Stewart and sister Margaret Howell. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years, Harvey; son Thomas Miller and former daughter-in-law Laney; daughter Marcie (Chris) Aird; grandchildren: Shelby, Regan, Jody, Ryan, and Victoria; sister Virginia Pelletier; and brother Melvin Stewart; as well as many other relatives and friends. Millicent was born in Bethune on January 18, 1936. She grew up in the Sunset School district until her family moved to Moose Jaw and she attended high school at Central Collegiate. In 1959 Millicent married Harvey Miller. In 1967 they moved to Craik and began farming. Millicent loved spending time with her family, and was happiest working with the farm animals and in the company of her pets. One of Millicent's passions in life was the time she spent working in the Craik area as a home care aide, providing assistance to others. She was also proud of her Irish ancestry. A Celebration of Millicent's life will be held at the Craik United Church, Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Hilda Dale will officiate. A private family interment will take place at the Craik Cemetery in the spring. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Craik and District Health Center for the exceptional care provided to Millicent recently, as well as Ann McGinnis for her frequent visits during a difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Craik and District Health Center Foundation would be appreciated by the family. In living memory of Millicent, a memorial planting will be made by W. J.
