BRUCE, Charles Raymond
The Guest Book is expired.
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Mr. Charles Raymond Bruce, on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Regina General Hospital. Dad was born on December 12, 1936 at Lily Plain SK to William and Hester Bruce, younger brother to Johnny, Grant, Sylvia and Roger, older brother to Robin, Gordon, Margaret and Norman. Charles leaves to mourn his passing, Ken (Anne) Bruce, Kelly (Tammy) Bruce, Shelley (Doug) Wierl, Murray (Donna) Bruce, Charlene (Mark) Hanes and Debbie (Bill) Bufton, their families, countless friends including Dad's special friend, Tina Wilkinson, of Lily Plain. Charles loved being a truck driver (proud holder of a chauffeur's license for 50 years), a manager, a businessman, a farmer, a hockey coach, and a member of the Craven and District Elks No. 581. But most of all he loved being a father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Dad is predeceased by Margaret Rose Bruce (2004). He wanted and was a very big part of people's lives. Through his guidance, kindness, generosity and his friendship, he became as large in life as any man could aspire to want or need. The interment will occur at a later date however, the Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Celebration Lutheran, 3130 Renfrew Crescent E, Regina. Many thanks for the kind care of Dad at the Regina General Hospital, Wascana Rehab, Parkside and Pioneer Village. Any donations can be made on Dad's behalf to the Canadian Diabetes Society.
