The Guest Book is expired.

It is with deepest sadness that we regretfully announce the passing of Harold Milo Nelson. Harold passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre, at the age of 77 years.
Harold was predeceased by parents, Nels and Ida Nelson; brothers, Raymond, Melvine, Arthur, William, Norris, Roger; sisters, Mabel, Norma, Gladys and Floreen.
He is survived by Betty Nelson; brothers, Calvin and Earl (Carly); children, Maureen (Russel), Sharon (Grady), Rodney, Brian (Ramona), Scott (Yvette) and Tracy (Kelly); 15 gradchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Harold was born in Gladmar, Saskatchewan on July 28, 1935, and was raised on the family farm in Bromhead. Harold married Betty in 1958. They resided in Regina, where they raised their six children. Harold had his own painting business, "Nelson's Decorators", for many years. They then moved to Alberta in 1981 where Harold would stay until his passing.
Harold was always very passionate about farming. Over the years, he would always seem to settle in the country where he would always have a team of horses, and enough room for a few cows and chickens.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and care-givers at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre.
At Harold's request, there will be no funeral. Instead, there will be a small gathering of friends and family at Baker Funeral Chapel, 5302-50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
In Harold's memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the charity of the donor's choice.
