KOOT, Leonard Martin
Leonard Martin of White City, SK was born on May 5, 1957 in Regina and passed away peacefully on Monday May 13, 2013 in Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his infant brother Joseph; and his brother Gerry. Len leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Colleen; sons Mike (Megan Sinclair) and Mark; parents Ida and Cornelius Koot; sisters Bernice (Eric) Crompvoets, Monique (Boyd) Stennes, Colleen Koot; in-laws Paul and Carol Schlosser; brothers and sisters-in-law Peggy (Murray) Hogan, Bob Schlosser, Kathleen (Jack) Fischl, Bryan (Lois) Schlosser and Barry (Belva) Schlosser; plus many numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Len was a successful businessman in construction and a volunteer firefighter for 17 years. Family and friends held a special place in Len's heart. The many memories shared and the wonderful support will forever be appreciated. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Pasqua Hospital and Allan Blair Cancer Centre. Donations in Len's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to sign the online obituary and tributes page at www.regina-memorial.ca.
