Audrey Boll
Passed away peacefully on December 1, 2014 at the nursing home in Fillmore with family members by her side. Audrey was born on January 19, 1928 in Fillmore and was the daughter of Henry and Olivia Lebbert. She was married to Maurice Boll on October 25, 1947 and they were together for almost 60 years. Audrey had two sons and was grandma to three boys and one girl and great grandma to two more. Audrey was a fixture in the John Deere dealership in Fillmore for twenty years while working alongside Maurice. She was a very competitive person and could be heard at rinks and ball diamonds all across Western Canada. She loved the rummy games at the rink and enjoyed travelling and playing in bridge tourneys in Southeast Sask. She had a great love of animals and enjoyed riding and then raising purebred cattle mainly Polled Herefords with the herd name being SBS Polled Herefords. She bred or owned cattle that won championships at Regina Agribition, Denver, Edmonton and many of the summer fairs in three different breeds. She was very active in Alcoholics Anonymous joining in 1980 and practicing its principals until her death. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in the Fillmore Memorial Hall at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Audrey and Maurice's cremated remains will follow in the Fillmore Cemetery.
