Lillian Yagow Obituary

Lillian Rosa Carolina Yagow, 81, of rural Altamont, died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at her home.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Altamont, with the Rev. Clayton Vail officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at Kull Funeral Chapel in Altamont and from noon until time of services on Monday at the church. Memorials: Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lincoln Land Hospice or donor's choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.kullfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Yagow was born on Dec. 3, 1931, in the Bethlehem community near Altamont in Effingham County, the daughter of William and Edna Berg Heiden. She married John Carl Yagow on Oct. 23, 1955, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband; son, Steven Yagow and his wife Shela of Altamont; and daughters, Judy and her husband Jeff Lee of Villa Park, Susan O'Donnell of North Lake, Nancy and her husband Joe Fillion of Plymouth, Wis., and Jane and her husband Tim Laatsch of Altamont.
