Amanda Sefton, 75, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, Ind.

Mrs. Sefton was born on Dec. 20, 1983, in Jasper County, Mo., the daughter of Charles Marvin and Dorothy Nadine Anderson Teeter. She married Maurice Lynn Sefton on Aug. 20, 1960, in Vandalia; he preceded her in death.
Amanda was a registered nurse. She taught LPNs in Morrilton, Ark., worked as a parish burse in Watertown, Wis., and was Director of Nursing with the American Red Cross in Indianapolis. She was a lifetime member of the St. Louis Genealogical Society, and her hobbies and interests included reading, genealogy, gardening and listening to classical music.
She is survived by her children, Joe Sefton and his wife Sandy of Greenfield, Ind., Becky Heath of Lebanon, Ind., and Sarah and her husband Dan Travis of Lebanon, Ind.; grandchildren, Caitlin, Spencer, Bennett, Ian, Levi and Danielle; a great-granddaughter, Adalynn; sister, Susan Allen Hagen of St. Louis, Mo.; and brother, Chris Teeter and his wife Donna of Columbia, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a daughter and son-in-law, Jennie and Rick Crawford.
