Edmund P. Hoffman, 99, of Ramsey, died on Monday, July 29, 2013, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at First Baptist Church in Ramsey, with the Rev. Scott Minix officiating. Burial will be in Ramsey Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the church. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: First Baptist Church of Ramsey. Mr. Hoffman was born on Aug. 9, 1913, in rural Ramsey, the son of Reinhold and Ida Fromm Hoffman. He married Illene M. Hayes on Aug. 30, 1932, in Bingham; she died on May 24, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Jack Hoffman and his wife Bernita of Tucson, Ariz.; and daughters, Betty and her husband the Rev. Louie Thiele of Vandalia, and Cheryl and her husband Loy Staff of Ramsey.
