Jerry R. Little, 71, of Hewitt, Texas, formerly of Vandalia, died on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Miler Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Loren File officiating. Burial will be in McInturff Cemetery in Hagarstown. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday, both at the funeral home. Memorials:

Mr. Little was born on Feb. 16, 1942, in Decatur, the son of Russell H. and Doris M. Anderson Little. He married Karen J. Smith on June 16, 1962, in Vandalia.
He was the vice president at VanTran Industries; a former employee of Johnson, Stephens and Shinkle Shoe Co., and the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant; and a farmer. He was an Army Reserves veteran, a NASCAR fan and a member of First Baptist Church in Vandalia.
He is survived by his wife; son, David Little of Vandalia; daughter, Debbie Smith and Ron Rauch Jr. of Vandalia; grandchildren, Cory, Chelsea, Michael and Dusty; great-grandchildren, Lizzy and Izaiah; sisters, Helen and her husband Robert Smith of Hagarstown, and Judy and her husband Charles Kaiser of Vandalia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
