Lowell P. 'Pat' Craig, 84, Ramsey
Lowell P. "Pat" Craig, 84, of Ramsey, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at his home.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Ramsey, with the Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in rural Ramsey. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey and one hour before services on Tuesday at the church. Memorials: The family. Mr. Craig was born on Dec. 10, 1928, in Ramsey, the son of Samuel L. and Velva E. Moreland Craig. He married Miriam Harston on Feb. 26, 1954, in Vandalia; she passed away on Jan. 15, 1992.
He was a retired cutter from Crane Packing in Vandalia. He was affiliated with Crown Point Church in rural Vandalia, and he served in the Army
during the Korean War
He is survived by sons, Patrick E. "Butch" Craig, Chad Craig and his wife Janice, and Rodney Craig, all of Ramsey; daughter, Dianne and her husband Pat Ambuehl of Vandalia; sisters, Marian Wise of Evansville, Ind., Virginia Chamber of Newburg, Ind., and Rosie Mosby of Evansville, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and two sisters.
