Patsy Coughlin, 62, of St. Elmo, died at 8:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at her home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia, with the Revs. Peter Kolb and Jerry Bagwell officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the church. Memorials: Kinley Walker Benefit. Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Coughlin was born on March 16, 1950, in Vandalia, the daughter of Filbert and Dorothy Gehle Meseke. She married Larry Coughlin on May 17, 1984; he died on March 17, 2008.
She was the owner and operator of Patsy's Antiques, and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia.
She is survived by sons, Troy Walker and his wife Hannah of St. Elmo, and Tony Walker and significant other Sam McCormick of Vandalia; stepson, Barry Coughlin of St. Elmo; stepdaughter, Julie and her husband Dennis Duckwitz of St. Elmo; brother, Harvey Meseke and his wife Alice of Shobonier; sisters, Marilyn and her husband John Truitt of Shobonier, and Jody and her husband Terry Osborne of Vandalia; brothers-in-law, Bill Coughlin of Xenia, and Kenny Coughlin and his wife Sue of Centralia; sister-in-law, Nancy Coughlin of Xenia; grandchildren, Morgan, Reagan and Kinley Walker, Tayten and Lakken Walker, and Lane McCormick; and stepgrandchildren, Rhiannon and Bailie Duckwitz, and Dennis Ray Ledbetter and his wife P.J., and their children, Harley and Witton Ledbetter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
