Obituary

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Adell Schulte Weseloh Heidbreder will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 203 E. Division St., Altamont, IL with the Rev. Dr. James Wright officiating. The family will greet family and friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
Adell passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur, IL at the age of 95. She was born on March 12, 1919 in Wilberton Township, Fayette County, IL to August and Matilda (Sachan) Schulte. She married Melvin Weseloh on 11-23-1937 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1973. She then married Clarence Heidbreder on April 10, 1976 in Effingham, IL. He also preceded her in death on December 30, 2005.
Mrs. Heidbreder retired from Norge/Fedders Corporation, Effingham in 1981. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Altamont. Adell enjoyed her early days of camping, was an avid fisherman, a savvy card player, and famous for her apple pies and ice box cookies. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments. She loved family gatherings and reminiscing of the "good old days". She was a wonderful person and loved by all. There will forever be an empty hole in our hearts.
Survivors include: older brother Marvin Schulte, N.C.; sons: Gerald (Kathy) Weseloh, Decatur; Ronald (Linda) Weseloh, Red Bud; Dennis (Joanna) Weseloh, Denver, CO; stepchildren: Ron (Viv) Heidbreder, Altamont; Don (DeeDee) Heidbreder, Potomac; Carol (Steve) Stumborg, Effingham; Geraldine Barrett, Bolivar, MO; grandchildren: Amy Weseloh-Gray, Lyle (Kristy) Weseloh, Karna (Dwayne) Pryor; step-grandchildren: Angie (Dave) Valentine, Cale (Callie) Heidbreder, Carson Heidbreder, Jeff Barrett, Stephanie (Shane) Harrison, Sara (Jess) Flood, Scott Stumborg; great-grandchildren: Kierre Gray, Adell, Julia and Brooke Weseloh; step-great-grandchildren: Stephen Harrison, Karter Flood, Blakeley Ann Heidbreder; 3 special grandchildren always in her heart; niece Janet (Tom) Cox; nephews Bob (Lilly) Schulte and Frank Schulte. Many great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Heidbreder was preceded by her parents; husbands Melvin and Clarence; brothers Edward, George, Pete and Alvin Schulte; nephew Floyd Schulte.
