Carla L. Woolsey, 48, of Fillmore, died at 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Temple Baptist Church in Vandalia, with the Rev. Harry Kirk, and the Rev. Joe Lawson and his wife Joy officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in VanBurensburg. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the church. Mrs. Woolsey was born on Sept. 22, 1963, in Vandalia. She was the daughter of Donald F. Spradling and Marilyn (Kleinik) Torbeck. She married Donald Woolsey on Dec. 17, 1992.
She was a cook at Vandalia Community High School, and was employed by Brockway Plastic in Vandalia prior to that. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Bingham.
She is survived by her mother; husband; sons, Dylan and Dalton Woolsey of Fillmore; brother, Ronald Spradling of Mulberry Grove; and half sister, Judy and her husband Drew Duncan of Sorento.
She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Dale Torbeck; and half brother, Donald D. Spradling.
