Obituary

Dewey M. Bail, 94, of St. Elmo, died at 12:16 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Friendship Manor in St. Elmo.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at C&A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo, with burial rites accored by St. Elmo American Legion Post 420. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour before services on Wednesday, both at the funeral home. Memorials: First United Methodist Church, Friendship Manor Activity Program or donor's choice.
Mr. Bail was born on April 8, 1918, in Salem, the son of Cleve and Urena (Landacre) Bail. He married E. Elizabeth Bolds in St. Charles, Mo., on July 22, 1940.
He is survived by his wife; son, David Michael Bail and his wife Sue of Temecula, Calif.; and daughters, Judy Kay and her husband Patrick Leach of St. Elmo, and Leatha and her husband Dee Newberry of St. Elmo.
