Donna L. Landrum, 78, of Vandalia, died at 10:55 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia. Memorials: Evans Public Library or Family YMCA of Fayette County, both of which gave her many years of pleasure. Online condolences may be shared at www.hohltandfilefh.net.
Mrs. Landrum was born on June 28, 1934, in Mt. Carmel, the daughter of William and Lenniedell Self Swain. She married Eugene R. Landrum on March 23, 1958, in Franklin, Ky.
She was a retired registered nurse who had worked for Fayette County Hospital and the American Red Cross.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Julia and her husband Matthew Staden of Walkersville, Md.; sisters, Karen Rae and her husband John Guy of Washington, Ind., and Sharon Kay and her husband Jim Brown of Clay City; and grandchildren, Katherine Staden and Andrew Staden, both of Walkersville, Md.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
