Gayle Eugene Trulock, 83, of Raymond, passed away at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at his home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Pleasant Hill Christian Church in rural Raymond, with the Rev. Dave Ziegenbein officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond. Visitation was to be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Trulock was born on March 13, 1932, in Pembine, Wis., the son of Lester and Mamie Hopkins Trulock. He married Aline R. Koonce on Oct. 1, 1950, in Brownstown.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church in rural Raymond, a 30-year member of the Raymond-Harvel Fire Department and a member of the 3M Firefighters Association. He was also a part-time police officer for the village of Raymond Police Department. He farmed for nearly 50 years, including 37 years for Dale and Joan Graham Farms. He also had a welding and stump grinding service.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Barbara Emery of Atwater, and Nancy and her husband Otto Scroggins of Raymond; brother, Danny Trulock of Niagra, Wis.; sisters, Earlene Phillips of California and Diane Bryngelson of Niagra, Wis.; grandchildren, Scott Emery and his wife Pam, Greg Emery, Matt Emery and his wife Susan, Shannon and her husband Bob Hudgins, and David Voyles; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth Edward Trulock, in 1970; a son-in-law, Dennis Emery; brothers, Darrell, Pete, Leon, Skinner and Clarence Trulock; and a sister, Arvetta Jordan.
