Obituary

Hazel Willa Giyer of Miami, Okla., died on Friday, May 13, 2016, at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, Okla.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday at First Assembly of God Church in Miami, Okla., with the Rev. Raymond Frizzelle officiating. Burial was in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Mrs. Giyer was born on Dec. 19, 1925, in Miami, Okla., the daughter of Hershal Carl and Brightie (Mead) Smith. She was married to Paul V. McMain for 52 years; he died in 1997. She married Ray Turner Giyer in 1998; he died in 2002.
Survivors include her children, Rhonda Paulette and her husband Ronald Nash of Vandalia, Rosemary Ann and her husband Bill Wedel of Waterloo, Wis., and Philip Warren McMain and his wife Barbara of Miami, Okla.
