Henry H. "Hank" Hall Jr., 63, of Pekin, passed away at 12:02 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin, with the Revs. Gary Grogan and David Carrington officiating. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery in rural Manito, with military rites accorded by the Navy and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Memorials: The family. Mr. Hall was born on Aug. 28, 1950, in Peoria, the son of Henry Hudson "Shorty" and Mary Elizabeth Driver Hall.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as an auto body technician and also was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by sisters, E. Fran Hall of Pekin, and Martha "Marti" and her husband Lou Turner of Ramsey; niece, Mary and her husband Andy Hoover of Mulberry Grove; niece-in-law, Valerie A. and her husband Doug Dewey of Jenison, Mich.; two great-nieces; three great-nieces; stepdaughter, MaryAnn and her husband Dennis Graves-Hall of Canon; stepson, Brad Donath of Ina; and three stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, John H. Turner; and stepson-in-law, David Graves.
