Juanita J. Kidd, 86, of Vandalia, passed away on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be expressed at www.millerfh.net.
Juanita was born on May 12, 1931, in Vandalia, the daughter of Cecil Kidd and Hazel G. (Diveley) Kidd McDonald.
She was the former owner/operator of The Patio in Vandalia, was affiliated with the Baptist and Methodist faiths, and was a former member of Vandalia Country & Golf Club and Vandalia Women of the Moose.
She is survived by a son, Doug Krutsinger and Jane of Centralia; daughters, Sheila Kinney, and Toni Brown and Eddie, both of Vandalia; half brother, Jim Kidd and Pricilla of Chicago; half sister, Patty Sprehe of Vandalia; grandchildren, Jennifer Cain and Scott of Patoka, Kim Hart and Sonny of Centralia, Brittany Myers and Austin of San Antonio, Texas, Taylor Brown of Effingham, and Jordan Shore and Drew of Charleston; and eight great-grandchildren, Jered, Jaelyn and Jesse Cain , Elizabeth, Emily and Elaina Hart, Davis and Dresdin Myers, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; special friend, Richard Hess; brother, Jack Kidd, and half sister, Sandy Coffelt.
