Karen J. Little, 73, of Vandalia, passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will be in McInturff Cemetery in Hagarstown. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials: McInturff Cemetery. Online condolences can be expressed at www.millerfh.net.
Mrs. Little was born on June 1, 1944, in Vandalia, the daughter of Voris Raymond and Virginia Mabel (Thacker) Smith. She married Jerry Little on June 16, 1962, in Vandalia; he passed away on April 27, 2013.
She was a homemaker and was affiliated with First Baptist Church in Vandalia. Karen was a breast cancer survivor and avid supporter.
She is survived by a son, David Little; daughter, Debbie Rauch and Ron Jr.; brothers, Kenneth Smith, Robert Smith and Helen, Edward "Ed" Smith and Herbert "Herb" Smith, all of Vandalia; sister, Marilyn Kopp and Mike of Vandalia; grandchildren, Dustin Smith, Cory Little and Elizabeth, Chelsea Hanna and Mark Alan, and Michael Little and Cheyenne; great-grandchildren, Lizzy, Izaiah, Zane, Jaxson, Sarah and Jennifer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
