Anna Harre, 91, of Brownstown, died at 6:25 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at her home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at First Christian Church in Brownstown, with the Rev. Kevin Bonifacius officiating. Burial will be in Griffith Cemetery in rural Brownstown. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown and one hour before services on Tuesday at the church. Mary Anna Harre was born on Friday, Sept. 26, 1924, in rural Altamont, the daughter of Noble Frank and Cora May (Heckman) Rush. She married Thureal E. Harre Sr. on Saturday, May 2, 1942, in St. Charles, Mo.; he died on Thursday, Feb, 9, 1989.
Survivors include sons, Thureal E. Harre Jr. and Lloyd Harre, both of Brownstown; and daughters, Nancy Pryor, Helen and her husband William Holman, Shelia and her husband Jim Pruett, all of Brownstown, Mary Stewart of Statesville, N.C.,; and Tammy and husband Kent Woolsey and Teresa and her husband Kent Durbin, both of Vandalia.
