Mary Louise Fristoe, 80, of St. Elmo, died at 8:06 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at C&A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials:

Miss Fristoe was born on Jan. 1, 1934, in St. Elmo, the daughter of Samuel S. and Ruth S. Stine Fristoe.
She was a fourth-grade teacher for 34 years at Wheatland Grade School in St. James and at Washington Grade School in Vandalia. She belonged to the Illini fan Club, loved country music and really enjoyed taking care of her little dog, Littlebit.
She is survived by her sisters, Norma Jean and her husband Fred Olds of Sidney, and Joyce and her husband Everett Smithson of Farina; and many close and beloved nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
