Noma Moore, 82, of St. Elmo, passed away at 5:02 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Liberty Christian Church in Sefton, with Keith Fletcher officiating. Memorials: Liberty Cemetery Fund or Johnston City Summer Lunch Program. Online condolences can be expressed at www.pagelfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Moore was born on Aug. 26, 1934, in Marion, the daughter of Vernon and Noma (Cocke) Hill. She married Charles Moore on Sept. 19, 1982; he preceded her in death.
She as a member of St. Elmo Home and Community Education, St. Elmo Quilt Club and St. Elmo Women's Club.
She is survived by a son, Tony Bearden and his wife Vicki of Brownstown; stepsons, James Moore, and David Moore and his wife Sue, both of Ohio; daughter, Marta and her husband Don Phillips of Johnston City; stepdaughter, Pamela and her husband Andrew Swoop of Ohio; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Frank Hill, Robert Hill, Bud Hill and Wayne Hill.
