Norma L. Wright, 90, of Vandalia, died at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Northside Christian Church in Vandalia, with the Rev. Carl Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the church. Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Northside Christian Church. Mrs. Wright was born on Jan. 29, 1923, in Burlington, Kan., the daughter of Ralph and Bessie Schaeffer Barrett. She married N.E. "Pat" Wright on Nov. 3, 1946; he died on Oct. 20, 1986.
She was the owner and operator of Wright Styles Salon, and a member of Northside Christian Church, Crawford-Hale American Legion Unit 95 Auxiliary and 8&40, all of Vandalia.
She is survived by a son, Doug Wright and his wife Debbie of Vandalia; daughter, Gail Cocagne of Vandalia; brother, Ralph Barrett Jr. of Burlington, Kan.; grandchildren, Michelle and her husband Steve Cearlock of Belleville, Jenny and her husband Tapan Virvani of Indianapolis, Ind., Pat Cocagne and his wife Ton of Auburn, Nick Cocagne of Vandalia and Tim Cocagne of Indianapolis, Ind; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Ashley and Alexis Cocagne; Zoe and Jett Cocagne; Jaiden Virvani; Luke and Annie Daniels; and Autumn and Lauren Cearlock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David Wright; and sisters.
