Norma Violet Blunt, 90, of Sandoval, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

Mrs. Blunt was born on June 5, 1925, the daughter of Ralph and Joy Roseman. She married William "Bill" Blunt.
She worked for several years at the family-owned business, B&J Wood Products; her daughter Vicki, husband Bill and son Joe all worked at the sawmill together. Her and Bill were co-owners of their son Joe's softball team, and they went to games all over the United States. She was an avid bingo player, and she was a huge Cardinals fan. She was also a member of the Patoka American Legion Auxiliary and Vandalia Order of Eastern Star. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years; daughters, Vicki and her husband Tim Dilg, and Connie and her husband Larry Keppler; sons, Don Blunt and his wife Vanessa, and Joe Blunt; grandchildren, Jake Keppler, Kaelin Armstrong, Whitney Jackson, Jenni Blunt and Britney Blunt; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Oleta Brumfield; and niece, Beverly Brumfield.
