Pauline Ramsey, 78, of Keyesport, passed away at 7:18 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Vandalia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Vandalia.
No services are scheduled at this time. Burial will be in Palmier Cemetery in Columbia, Ill., at a later date. Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Mrs. Ramsey was born on March 13, 1936, in Belleville, the daughter of Raymond and Grace Siebert Quirin. She married Howard Ramsey.
She was a believer in the Catholic faith. She worked as a custodian before she and her husband moved in the early 1990s to Keyesport, where they invested in rental property for their retirement.
She is survived by her husband; brother, Larry Quirin and his wife Virginia of Belleville; and family friends, Sam and Christal Fogler of Keyesport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rose Herbeck and Ruth Ann Lambeck; and two infant children, Tina and Dan Ramsey.
