Robbie L. Craig, 51, of Carterville, died at 2:17 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his home.
Services will be announced at a later date, with burial in Cisne. Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.hosseltonfh.com.
Robbie was born on June 27, 1961, in Mattoon to Randall Craig and Donna Jean Simmons Miller. He married Holly Housley.
He was a truck driver, and he served in the Navy. He was a member of Northside Christian Church in Vandalia, and was a two-year student at John A. Logan College, studying guidance counseling.
He is survived by his wife, of Vandalia; son, Justin Craig of Vandalia; mother, of Vandalia; grandmother, Mary Ellen Craig of Hidalgo; sisters, Jeana and her husband Roger Daniels, and Trisha and her husband Stoney Lewis, both of Vandalia; and a grandson, Jonathan Lee Craig of Kingland, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, C.B. and Rosalee Simmons; and grandfather, Bud Craig.
