Robert D. Snow, 80, of Bingham, passed away at 2:55 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at his residence in rural Bingham.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Allen and Sutton Funeral Home in Fillmore, with the Rev. Harry Kirk officiating. The family requests casual dress for the services. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Snow was born on Nov. 14, 1937, in Coffeen, the son of Asa and Fern (Kell) Snow. He married H. Lucille Siebert on Nov. 26, 1958, in Mulberry Grove; she preceded him in death in 1989.
Bob worked as a farmer, welder and cowboy. He enjoyed roping and rodeoing his entire life, and he alo loved to work on small engines for his friends around Fillmore. In his later years, people called him "Mr. Fix-It." He was a member of Mt. Moriah Church in Coffeen and of the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association for more than 50 years.
He is survived by his son, Rodney (Rose) Snow of Bingham; daughters, Cindy (Lonnie) Rich of Herrick and Margaret (Rodney) Nees of Shelbyville; grandchildren, David Jay (Kaytlin) Nees, Russell Snow (Jessica Shaw), Michael Nees, Douglas Rich and Rachel Snow; great-granddaughter, Addison Snow; brother, Donnie (Vicky) Snow; sisters-in-law, Shirley Snow and Patricia Snow; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Benny Snow and Chester Snow.
