Obituary

Syble I. King, 94, of Odin, formerly of Brownstown, died on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Bob Carter officiating. Burial was in Griffith Cemetery in rural Brownstown. Mrs. King was born on March 21, 1919, in Millington, Tenn., the daughter of Jake and Nora Lambert. She married Elvin King on Aug. 16, 1940, in Salem, Tenn.; he died on Jan. 28, 2008.
Survivors include sons, Billy King of Alma, and James King and his wife Linda of Hamlet, Tenn.
