Vaudith Lavelle Logue, 90, of Beecher City, passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at her daughter's home in Sullivan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at C&A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, with Ken Fookes officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in the Wright's Corner area. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour before services on Wednesday, both at the funeral home. Memorials: Springhill Cemetery or donor's choice. Mrs. Logue was born on April 30, 1924, in Loudon Township, the daughter of Samuel Robert and Bertha Ethel Luckett Myers. She married Dorsie Wilson Logue on Sept. 6, 1942, in St. Charles, Mo.; he passed away on Sept. 20, 1974.
She was a member of the Altamont VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the Altamont VFW Post. She loved flowers, crocheting, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Wilkins and Lulu Belle Morris, both of Sullivan, and Pamila and her husband Mike Brown Sr. of Trout, La.; sons, Rodney Logue of Effingham and Pat Logue of Florence, Miss.; brother, Myron Myers and his wife Mary of Cowden; sisters, Erma Fair and Juanita Tomlinson, both of Beecher City; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Scotty Logue; brothers, George, Gerald, David, Marvin and Marvel; sisters, Margie Blurton and Leora Newburn; and
