Wanda L. Crumbey, 83, of Vandalia, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Jim Dann officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Crumbey was born on Jan. 16, 1930, in Portageville, Mo., the daughter of Floyd and Frieda L. Wilson Curtis. She married Edward L. Crumbey on Jan. 4, 1949, in St. Louis, Mo.; he passed away on June 29, 1995.
She was a homemaker, and was affiliated with Liberty Christian Church in Brownstown.
She is survived by sons, Kenny Crumbey and his wife Pat of Willisville, Bruce Crumbey and his wife Penny, and Bobby Crumbey and his wife Rachel, all of Keyesport; daughter, Sherry and her husband Gary Drysdale of Lonedell, Mo., and Carrie and her husband Greg Tomlinson of Brownstown; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Edward Crumbey Jr.; and two sisters.
