Patricia J. Luster, 75, of Brownstown, died at 6:13 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at her home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Liberty Christian Church in rural Brownstown, with the Rev. Jim Dann officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown. Mrs. Luster was born on Sept. 11, 1937, in Sefton Township, rural Brownstown, the daughter of Roy M. and Fern E. Chatham Kelly.
She was retired from World Color Press in Effingham, and was a member of Liberty Christian Church.
She is survived by a son, Michael Luster and special friend Shirley Ray of Vandalia; daughters, Teresa and her husband Damon Duckworth of Brownstown, Lisa and her husband Jeff Cameron of Belton, Texas, Amy and her husband Rick Pittenger of Brownstown, and Courtnay Luster of Belton, Texas; brother, Robert Kelly and his wife Shirley of Huntington Beach, Calif.; sister, Betty Peterson of McAllen, Texas; grandchildren, Jami and her husband Larry Kistler, Ryan Garrison, Slade Luster, TaNisha Duckworth, Maizie Blackwell, Kolton Cameron and Kyrieauna Duckworth; and great-grandchildren, Ariana Kistler and Aiden Strobel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, in infancy; sister, Blondell Rush; and great-granddaughters, Madison and Riley Garrison.
