Margaret L. Rogers, 98, of Chillicothe, formerly of Brownstown, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Chillicothe.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown, with the Rev. John O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in Washington Street Cemetery in Casey. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Haley Chapel United Methodist Church in Bluff City. Mrs. Rogers was born on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1915, in Casey, Clark County, the daughter of Otho and Millie Winters McDaniel. She married H. Dean Rogers Sr. on July 25, 1934; he died on March 14, 1973.
She was a homemaker and had been employed at Murphy's Variety Store in Vandalia. She was a member of Haley Chapel United Methodist Church in Bluff City.
She is survived by a son, H. Dean Rogers Jr. and his wife Sharon of Woodville, Wash.; daughter, Mescal and her husband Bob Brown of Dunlap; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her huband, parents, son-in-law, three brothers and three sisters.
