Tommy D. Collier, 60, of Odin, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Ausgburg Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Shobonier, with the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Graveside services followed. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the church. Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Collier was born on Dec. 15, 1952, in Vandalia, the son of Don and Elnora Busenhart Collier. He married Fran Moeller on Dec. 19, 1975, in Shobonier.
He was a lifelong carpenter and the owner of Tom Collier Construction. He was a member of the Patoka American Legion.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Nicholas Collier and his wife Rebecca of Athens, and Nathan Collier and significant other Mallory Koch of Salem; grandchildren, Jacob Collier, Andrew Collier and Lydia Collier; brothers, Donald Collier and his wife Linda of Indiana, John Collier of Ohio, and Gary and Cheryl Collier of California; sisters-in-law, Carolyn and her husband Ted Helmer of Kansas, Marilyn and her husband Harry Price of Missouri, Candy and her husband Gary Brown of Vandalia, and Loann and her husband Mike Telger of Shobonier.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
