Barbara Raley Yaste, 73, Lexington, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Markey Cancer Center.
She was born in Marion County. She was a member of David's Fork Baptist Church where she served more than 30 years as a Sunday School secretary and was very active in all aspects of the church. She was a volunteer at Bargain Box in Paris. She was a 1958 graduate of Lebanon High School and was Miss Marion County Fair 1958.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lee Ervin and Anna Raley; and a daughter, Elizabeth Yaste.
Survivors include: her husband, Vernon Yaste; four children, Lorie Yaste-Zajicek (Russ), Beckie Isaacs (Bob), Lynne Cipro (Gary), and Keith Yaste (Marie); 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Ann McCollum of Berea, Amelia Owen, Ginger Buckman and Linda Begley, all of Lebanon; and a very large extended family.
Funeral services ware held Saturday, March 16 at David's Fork Baptist Church with burial in Lexington Cemetery.
Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St., Lexington, was in charge of arrangements.

My sincere condolences to the family. I was fortunate enough to know most members of the family. Barbara's mother Anna was almost like a second mother to me and Barbara's sisters Ginger and Linda were friends of mine. May Barbara rest in peace.
