Margaret Battcher Obituary

Margaret Roberta Battcher, 84, Lebanon, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at Village of Lebanon Nursing Home.
She was born on Sept. 4, 1929 to the late Zelda Maude Cooley and James Baxter Garrett.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Paul Houston Battcher; a son, Tommy Battcher; a brother, Wallace Garrett; two sisters, Catherine Tharp and Louise Tharp; and two grandchildren, Don Whitehouse Jr. and Stephen Whitehouse.
Survivors include: two sons, Benny Battcher and Terry Battcher both of Lebanon; two daughters, Martha Whitehouse of Lebanon and Ruth Tripplett of Ohio; one brother, Otis Garrett of Calvary; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Muldraugh Hill Cemetery. Bro. Delane Pinkston and Bro. Steve Skaggs officiated.
Pallbearers were Chris and Houston Batcher, Dylan Bright, Joey Smith, Richie Morris, and Shawn Gordon.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
