Alice Jeanette Hart, 75, Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Hospice Care Unit in Louisville.
She was born on May 23, 1938 in Marion County. Hart was a retired supervisor from Jane & Linda Sportswear. She was also a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, William Hobert and Mary Mandeline Gray Bell; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Murphy and Virgella Routt; and three brothers, William Lee Bell, Joseph A. Bell and Hobert Bell Jr.
Survivors include: three daughters, Donna C. Hart of Lexington, Anita K. Hart of Lebanon, and Vicki M. Hart of Louisville; three sons, Anthony Lee (Anita) Hart of Campbellsville, John Edward (Valarie) Hart Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, and Marvin E. (MJ Vilardi) of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Ann K. Bell of Lebanon and Carolyn J. Brown of Louisville; four grandchildren, Nikki, Brandyon, Ashley Brooke and Cameron Hart; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Bill Bowling officiated and Deacon Ed Grider assisted.
Active pallbearers were Michael Girton, D'Anthony Padgett, William Murphy, Jaylen Hasan, Michael A. Girton, and Cameron Hart.
Honorary pallbearers were Timothy Girton, Brandyon Hart, MJ Vilardi, Arthur Scott, Anthony Padgett, and Donnie Shockency.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
