Carl Willard Farmer

Carl Willard 'C.W.' Farmer, 71, Jessietown, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville.
He was born June 15, 1941 in Marion County. Farmer was a retired employee of Parker-Kalon in Campbellsville and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Carl Lee and Mary Oda Thompson Farmer; and two sisters, Anna Ruth Steinbrecher and Thelma Lee Farmer.
Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Ann Kirkland Farmer of Jessietown; two daughters, Debbie (Tim Bob) Thomas of Calvary and Karen (Phillip) Gootee of Lebanon; a son, Brad Farmer of Jessietown; three grandchildren, Heather Thomas, Justin Caldwell, and Kaitlyn Farmer; and a sister, Janet Moore of Lebanon.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in Old Liberty Cemetery. Rev. Steve Skaggs officiated.
Active pallbearers were Carroll Kirkland, Leonard Potter, Earl Little, Darrell Spalding, Vernon Cox, and Lonnie Moore.
Honorary pallbearers were friends of Calvary Store and Parker-Kalon.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church Elevator Fund, 4430 Highway 289, Lebanon, KY 40033.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
