Donald Millard Tungate, 69, Bradfordsville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 in Lebanon after an illness.
He was born May 13, 1943.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mary Louise Rakes and Oscar Tungate; his wife, Janet Kay Tungate; three brothers, Hugh Campbell Tungate, Gary D. Tungate and Billy James Tungate.
Survivors include: a special friend of 17 years, Lillie Bell Rakes of Bradfordsville; two sons, Donald Travis Tungate of Lebanon and Vincent Turner (Sherry) Tungate of Bradfordsville; a daughter, Rena Kay (Ricky) Blair of Campbellsville; three brothers, Jerry Lee Tungate of Bradfordsville, Rue Allen Tungate of Illinois and Joseph Darrell Tungate of Lebanon; two sisters, Judy Darlene Leckrone of Springfield and Sissy Brewster of Missouri; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Old Liberty Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Kayla Ann Orberson-Thompson, Chris Coyle, Aidan Martin, Adam, Justin and Janet Tungate, Shawn Leckrone, and Matthew Blair.
Honorary pallbearers were Brittany Carter, Raley Martin, Ashley and David Paul Rakes, Bryan and Jordan Coyle, Daniel and Stacy Blair, Betty Sexton, and Larry and Belinda Vaughn.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
