Frances Marie Lee

Frances Marie Lee, 88, Lebanon, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Village of Lebanon.
She was born on March 9, 1925 in Marion County. Lee was a retired employee of Jane & Linda Sportswear and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank Lee Jr.; her parents, Joe and Mary Sally Russell Mattingly; an infant son, James Louis Lee; three brothers, Ernest, Alvin, and Leo Mattingly; and five sisters, Marguerite Smith, Lillian Stutegille, Louise Mattingly, Anna Mae Blandford, and Catherine Rose Lacefield.
Survivors include: four daughters, Mary Ann (David) White, Kathy Welch, Janet Lee, and Susan (David) Leininger, all of Lexington; three sons, Donald (Linda) Lee of Raywick, Dennis (Saundra) Lee of Bardtown, and Joe (Karen) Lee of Nicholasville; a sister, Thelma VanDyke of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Bill Bowling officiated.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Augustine School.
Pallbearers were David, Ryan and Dave White, Eric and Brandon Lee, and Scott Welch.
