George Alfred Harmon

George Alfred Harmon, 89, Lebanon, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Center.
Born on Sept. 25, 1922 in Marion County, Harmon was a retired employee of General Electric Appliance Park, Louisville.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Estelle Helen Adams Harmon;
his parents, Eursley Kelly and Emma Lyons Harmon; and a brother, Shelby Harmon.
Survivors include: three sons, Gary (Linda) Harmon, Terry (Judy) Harmon and Steve (Phyllis) Harmon, all of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Mary, Brandon and Lisa Harmon, all of Lebanon, and Kim Harmon of New York; two great-grandchildren, Mason Harmon and Miranda Buckler; a sister, Hazel Spalding of Lebanon; and two brothers, James H. Harmon of Fort Valley, Ga. and Ronnie Harmon of Bardstown.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Ryder Cemetery. Dr. David Whitlock officiated.
Pallbearers were Gary, Steve, Brandon, Terry and Jimmy Harmon, and Rob Rohe.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
