Hubert Hancock, 86, Bradfordsville, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Louisville after an illness.
He was born on Aug. 20, 1927 to the late Earl and Bernice Woodrum Hancock. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: one brother, Bobby Hancock; two nieces, Sandra and Cheryl Hancock; and one nephew, Billy Mitchell VanDyke.
Survivors include: three brothers, Wayne (Leona) Hancock, Blayne (Imogene) Hancock, and Cap Hancock; one sister, Geneva VanDyke; three nephews, Terry Hancock, Tony Hancock, and Steve VanDyke; one aunt, Louise Shreve; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Old Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Delane Pinkston officiated.
Pallbearers were William Stafford, Thomas Walls, Kenny Miles, Terry Hancock, Mac VanDyke, and Josh Trailor.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
